The Miracle Money Just Keeps Pouring In

As some of you already know I have a bank savings account where I put what I call my "miracle money", this is money that comes out of the blue. Well in the last two days I have had another two trenches of miracle money appear, the first one was in the local super market where the self serve check out presented me with a £5 voucher I had not earned and the second came today when yet another £5 was given to me completely out of the blue. Let's just say it certainly put a big smile on my face and it is another £10 towards the 217 Disney fund, oh I do love receiving miracle money

I split all my extra money up into different accounts. I have a main savings that I put a tiny bit into, usually just the change off my paycheck, but that's a long term savings so I'm not worried about building it quickly. Then I have another savings that is strictly just to help with next year's Marching Band expenses. I put $5 per paycheck in there, and as I'm paid biweekly I should have $120 next Marching Band season, as I said it's just to help with expenses so no big deal that it's not growing quickly. I also have a 1 year CD that I can add to. I've been adding $5 per paycheck to that as well, but that is for Christmas next year, so as I get some extra money that is where it will go.

@mrtoffee It will certainly help keep expenses down next year so I'll have more to save. I wish I'd done that last year as I'm only half done with Christmas shopping but am quickly running out of money to spend.

@sugartoes One tries to help as much as one can, as I said in my last comment (there are quite a few now and I am getting a little confused ) I have been to the bottom in life and I know what it is like to get back out, any help is alway welcome no matter how small

I love it when unexpected amounts like that show up out of the blue! The best I've done in the last few days was finding a coupon for $1.50 off products we buy at the self checkout in the grocery store.

@sugartoes I was like that just under two years ago, in fact I had a pretty big breakdown I guess you would call it. Huge depression and anxiety issues, but after a lot of personal work and the help of my joyologist and some well chosen books I have conquered my issues and I am now in the ascendancy. I still have bad days, but there are more good days than bad

I do receive bonuses, portion of which will always go for savings. Its best not to go hay-wile on stroke of a lucky ransom. Keep preserving & only spend it if its is an absolute necessity

I wish I can get some miracle money. The only unexpected money I ever get is a few quarters underneath the seat cushions on the couch.

they count @Dalane get those quarters popped into a savings account so they start earning a few pennies and start looking for the next few quarters.Remember that money breeds money

@sugartoes All things start small before they grow big, believe me once money starts to flow, the flow just keeps growing as long as you are sensible.

Since having internet access for the first time in years, i have been finding old funds left and right. I just found $5 i can use for an Amazon gift card not even 60 seconds ago in an old paid surveys site account. These certainly will come in handy in time for Christmas :)
