I usually wish for snow around Christmas. I'd like it to go away right after that though, LOL!

@marlina Well I like a bit of snow leading up to Christmas. There are a lot of Christmas activities we like to do that require snow, like seeing the decorations and ice skating under the tree downtown, and something called Lights on the Lake where there are huge light displays you drive through. All that stuff is better with some snow. Not a whole ton of snow, just enough to cover the grass.

It is really hard to say, but most areas that get lots of snow, will more than likely be getting snow for Christmas. Here in Oregon, we don't get much snow, and have never had any at Christmas. That is fine with me though, as it is pretty to look at, but not easy to drive in. Since it is still early yet, no one can predict the weather for Christmas.

It said we may get snow this weekend and we never did so I'm glad the weather man was wrong yet again. We usually get snow after thanksgiving so I'm sure we'll have some before christmas. It wouldn't be christmas without any snow

I'm sure it will snow "somewhere", but definitely not where I live! Although it's gotten a bit cooler out here, the sun is out and we're probably in the low 70s during the day. We're also in a drought. I'm positive it will not snow "here".

I've heard that Santa will be bring you snow in Manchester (you put it on your wish list didn't you?), I hope you enjoy, no doubt it will still be raining here in Plymouth.

I have seen plenty of very cold Christmases that do not have snow. I guess we will have to see.

I am retiring in nine days. So it needs to wait until than to snow.
