A Week In

Rediscovered MyLot about a week ago and everything is looking good. The learning curve is gentler and I've been living up to my own expectations. Reconnected with a lot of friends. Blabbed about the site on my author's blog so that my personal readership knows I'm here. Even my notifications show signs of being intimidating when I log in at the beginning of a session.
This is not going to be a fun day for me. Friday always gets crazy busy at work. I've accepted extra hours because a friend/co-worker has been out of commission for the past week. I suspect I get to off load the truck when I get in which is exhausting all by itself.The freezer looked pretty empty yesterday and I expect that was one of his jobs for the day. Worse the deep fryer for the chicken products is busted. Barely limping along. I'm hoping my maintenance compatriot can get enough of the gunk out of it so that it doesn't break down completely before I go home. After that I go AWOL till Saturday evening. Most of my friends on Bubblews are used to my short weekly absence. Will catch up with everyone when I get back.
If I don't see my friends before I head off to work this morning, happy mylotting. It is good to be back.

Welcome back and my day is going to busy too. My daughter wants me in 30 minutes earlier and asked if I would stay longer to accept a package she is waiting for. So I have no idea when I will get back home, but I have to leave in about 20 minutes.

On a Friday we never have a chance to be bored. On the bright side my kitchen team didn't include anyone that wanted to kill anyone else.

Have fun! Today I´ll have a lot of things to do as I have visitors tomorrow and I´m planning on a yummy but difficult dinner for them.

It has been easy. Granted I already know how to be successful on this type of site within the time I have available. Lots of familiar friends makes it even easier. I just had to get up to speed on the new platform.

I'm slowly catching up with everyone. I don't feel particularly pressured here either. So far have been enjoying myself a great deal.
