How To Get On The Interesting Page On Mylot?

I was wondering whether it was just a random selection that gets put on the front page of the site, or do the admin choose what appears on the front page? I noticed hot section is to do with the number of comments and likes, but was wondering how I can get my post on the normal explore front page (interesting tab). By front page I mean when you click on explore and the front page on there it navigates to the interesting posts.
Anyone know if it is just random?

@ZainaManzoor There is most recent . . which is where the most recent posts go. . . Top rated - well, those with the most likes over the past 24 hours. . . hot - those with most comments. . . interesting page - which is based upon personal tags. . .
But I have never seen a front page!

It isn't random. It is likely selected by some automated process, which has certain triggars. Those are part of the algorithm, and kept secret.

@gudheart a lot of people spend an extraordinary amount of time trying to figure it out. It could be random initially, then posts longevity is based off of user interaction.

I'm not sure how the Interesting ones work, never seen mind there, but seen yours there many times. I would be interesting to know how it all works but I can't see that happening then again maybe.

For that I think you get more then 30 comments till you cant reach there , me also want to come there but it take some time and one day we are there.

@gudheart what ever you call hot section interesting section but you have to get more and more responses,one thing i not understand sometimes someone put normal topic till get 20 to 30 responses and we put interesting one still not get more then 5 ,why?

I have no idea about the criteria but perhaps it is just random selection. I don't really go to explore often so I don't notice which posts are there. I most look at the discussions of my connections.
