Underachieving

If I have any talent, it is for underachieving. I have underachieved already today, having wasted the morning instead of taking care of the responses on myLot and writing a post about the tragic gatherings that are family Thanksgivings. But it isn't just here. I underachieve at Swagbucks, Zemandi and Blogjob as well. As soon as I start to near a payout, I completely stop going there and wander off to watch reruns of Star Trek. I don't think I am afraid of accomplishment. I think I am just lazy. But I got dressed and I am going to make more coffee and see if I can work my way towards an achievement - whether here or elsewhere, it doesn't matter. Do you ever just walk away from something even though you are near to your goals? Are you an overachiever or an underachiever? Is there a way for me to overachieve and still take a nap? Yeah, coffee. I have to make more.

Sometimes we just need a break and watching Star Trek sounds fun.

Watching their five year mission fizzle after only three years sets the tone for underachieving.

Stop setting goals, then you'll always be over achieving.

I set really low goals. I am not sure they can get lower.

I'd be a chronic underachiever if I ever set myself some goals. Blogjob? For a moment there...

I lean toward under achiever... at work i'm good.. but when not at work..... under Achiever, for the most part ...and then, I have a spurt and achieve loads in a Short Space of time.....

Oh yes, the sudden bursts of achievement. I know those. Too bad they never last. Enthusiasm wanes...

But thinking is one of those things you don't have to buy equipment to do, or special shoes or even leave your chair...

@Rollo1 That's a point. But too much of something is always too much.

We went to a bar in Bangkok. I did not want a drink but had coffee instead. It was so good I had another but then lived to regret as I was as wide awake as I have ever been until 4AM then managed to get to sleep for two hours before I had to be up again! LOL. I do not bother setting goals for here or the other former site I just enjoy the experience and let it happen as it happens!

A bit of both on my side. Over and under depending on the circumstances.

I lack enthusiasm for many things, I tend to wander away.

I think I'm a bit of an overachiever, but I may spread myself too thin. I'm good at many things, but perhaps REALLY good at none.

No I am afraid I am quite goal driven and I strive to reach goal early in the month so I can underachieve with impunity later. lol
