Hello, Everyone! Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Dillin and I'm brand new to mylot. This is actually my first post. I've recently graduated from the Police Academy and currently working security for the time being. Both of my parents are old time bodybuilders who were big in the fitness industry years ago. Now, due to my passion for law enforcement and bodybuilding I love helping people in any way I can. I wont be giving any legal advice on this post due to legal reasons but I will be giving out my experience and professional opinion on health, nutrition and fitness. Before I begin I'd like to say, as a legal disclaimer, it is best to consult your primary physician prior to starting any workout regimen or supplementation. Please inform me through messages or the comments section on topics you'd like to be touched on. I will be covering the most effective workouts for a beginner and nutrition habits to point you in the right direction. So, lets get started. I

Well you'll certainly gain popularity with those who've added a few inches to their belts over the holidays. I personally am on an organic food diet which over the past 15 years has helped me maintain my weight, not that it's perfect by any means but at least I do not gain and can still wear the clothes I bought over 10 years ago. As you've guessed I'm not into body building, I leave that to you youngsters. So, are you just here to have fun then?

Oh yeah, I'm very aware of how amazing our bodies are @imgettingpaid2watch but first things first, I have a herniated disc so I'm concentrating my food intake to help heal that nerve ... I don't do doctors, did that back in 1996, had the surgery and now it's buggin me again, I'm a strong believer that food will help me heal so for now it's lottsa sardines, salmon, eggs and some veggies. Over time that nerve will heal without doctors to screw things up.

Being able to maintain weight be healthy and still snack here and there is the best way to go. For you to be able to maintain the same body composition after all these years...and holidays is very very good. I like that. You don't have to be young to be a bodybuilder. In the past 10 years bodybuilding has come a long way. We now have men and women in their 70s and 80s bodybuilding.

Think I'm just going to re-write the whole thing. Just replying to requests with a smaller article might be the easier route for all of us. ha thank you.

I have a question: Why do bodybuilders think that mountains of muscles make them good-looking and attractive?

I guess that's just a personal opinion or maybe perhaps its an ego thing. I for one could never hit 200lbs. I can only go slightly further then my natural size every year. I do it because it feels good. I get a joggers high just like when someone goes running.

Welcome to MyLot. I'm glad to see that you took Hatley's advice and edited the 'article'. Since MyLot is more about discussions than articles, you may find it useful to think of what you write as 'conversation starters' rather than 'articles'. You will probably find it useful to go through the information I have linked to on this page. It tells you where to find the essential stuff, like the Guidelines and the Earnings Program FAQs and also has some other things you may find useful.
