James said he was headed for a job interview but when he got off the bus he realized he had gotten off at the wrong stop and had to go 6 miles more. He looked so distressed that a police officer stopped and asked him if he was alright, James then told the officer what had happened and the officer said you will never make it on time walking there then told James hop in I will drive you to your interview. James told the officer I will buy you lunch for bringing me here, James got the job and is searching for the Officer to buy him the lunch he promised him. All that James knows is his name was something like Andrew.

@Marcyaz ..that shouldn't be very difficult. He can approach any police station narrate the story...they will ask him the route locate the nearby police stations, show him the list of police officers working there with their faces if it is acceptable...or may be at least let him go and check at those three or four police stations. Either way, getting a lead is no big deal. Point is making time for it.

You are right @BACONSTRIPS. The public always hear about the bad things police do and hardly ever the good things. I hope this guy finds him, even if just to shake his hand and thank him again.

Such stories are rarely heard of, while people love to spread the bad stories about Police officers. I remember many years ago a friend and I were down in Somerset and were lost during the night, when the Police turned up and asked us where we were going. They insisted that we could not stay there and drove us a long way to a safer spot.

@Asylum A lot of people do not like hearing anything good all they are interested in is the bad that happens in the world. Glad you had a good experience there.

Perhaps he should go to the local police station and post a message for him. Nice to ready things that are not negative.

You said that right @ElusiveButterfly. There are more good police officers than bad ones but the bad ones always stick out in peoples minds which is totally wrong.

Wow I salute that officer I love people like that who knows how to help when it is needed. These unselfish people deserve a medal and praise from people. Some people abuse their powers as officers but to this one I can say he is very different. He is a kindhearted person and should serve as a role model for both young and adult people. Gotta love them!

That was a wonderful thing for the officer to do! Most policemen are really good people and enjoy helping others. More than likely, if he does find the officer, he won't accept the lunch offer. I believe the "rules" forbid him to, but it is a very nice thought!
