Just discovered what makes a purr-fect cat toy. Ready for it? It's a child's fishing pile with a toy mouse tied to the end. Fixed one up for my kitten last night and he loves it! Countless hours have now been wasted casting and reeling back in the mouse with a Fiesta kitten attached. Hey look, I cought a cat fish! Didn't really want to finish folding the towels anyway.

Yes, my roomate did something similar with a fishing pole and cat toys. My cat has a toy fishing pole with some fake fish attached. He likes to play with that sometimes.

My 14 year old cat is not interested in playing toys of any kind. The little one is nearly 2 and is quite playful. She loves the laser. It is her favorite. The cheapest is a piece of yarn!

That's interesting. I have one even better. If you have plastic grocery bags, you can use it for a cat bed. One of my cats loves to lie down and nap on it or hang out. Who needs toys? They also love to play with pens.
