I finally made enough in the middle of last month for a payment this month and with it being day 2, I didn't understand why I didn't get paid..well duh (make that a triple ) when I signed up, I forgot to include my paypal e-mail address. I have no idea why I didn't put it in when I signed up, but that's okay, just means a bigger payout next month. What is the last thing you did that made you say "duh"?

@ElizabethWallace pointed something out to me that I should have seen for myself. It seems very easy to miss stuff sometimes.

@JudyEv and @ElizabethWallace , you do realize I got it backwards, right? Payment comes in the middle of the month, not the beginning.

Now that you've put your paypal address in you may just get paid this time. We none of us will get paid for a few days at least.

@Carmelanirel2 They've always paid on or before (usually before) the 15th of the month.

But at least you caught it and you get a whopping total when you receive it! I say "duh" all too many times, everyday But my last real "duh" was this morning when I was doing a survey on SB that would have been worth 100SBs and I closed out the entire window in the middle of it (I thought I was closing something else out). DUH!

@Carmelanirel2 You'll be rich when payday comes! I just hit the X in the corner - and there it went - gone, gone for good!

@much2say The X on the corner? Is this something we have to do or what?

Turns out I got it backwards, so I will get more than I originally thought. As for closing a page, oh yeah, I have done that before and why I like browsers that have something like "you have multiple tabs open, are you sure you want to close?" because that happened this morning and when that popped up, I hit cancel right away.

Good for you ! It is still too early for me to discuss how many days it will take to get paid after I make enough .Since I am not that active my earnings grows at a snail's pace .

@Carmelanirel2 Realistically,I don't care about how much I make .The main purpose of my signing up English sites is to improve my English and talk with people .Personapaper pays much less than Mylot, but I visit it every day .It is said that Personapaper will close down .

@changjiangzhibin89 Yes I remember you cared more about your English (which by the way, since we met years ago, your English has improved greatly ) and personapaper is getting ready to close? Maybe I should go over there in case there is something I want to save. Thanks for letting me know.

Yes, you really have to be active here in order for the earnings to increase. I'm still waiting for you to create another post, though I also know that it isn't the posts you write, because I notice a member doesn't have a lot of posts, but is very active in other's posts and I am believe he makes a payout every month.

I will, but when they pay. I really thought they paid at the beginning of the month, not the middle. That's okay, just another week to go,

@simone10 Wait! Are you telling me that they did pay in the beginning of the month? Was this years ago, before they made the changes? If so, that is probably why I thought payment was at the beginning.

@Carmelanirel2 When I first started, they paid around the 3rd and each month it has been a little later. I'm sure with the growth from everyone coming here from the B site, it has been a lot to handle.

@Carmelanirel2 Maybe I was not clear enough. I was alluding to your "just means a bigger payout next month". I was thinking aloud that we do not lose anything really as we get just returns for our deeds sooner or later - siva .

At work I make beds all day long. There have been a few times where I realize I've put the wrong cover on the bed in the wrong order and have to redo it. Nothing major but it is a pain in the butt. LOL

No, it is major since you have to take everything off and redo it. I hate making beds and want to get it done right the first time and hate it when I don't do it right.

No, what happened is I forgot how the site works. See, I was a member years ago and I tough we got paid at the beginning of the month, so it is a case of not remembering.

According to @simone10 they did start out paying at the beginning of the month, so I think I was right, but didn't realize they changed.

You don't get paid straight away in the new month. It can be anytime up to the middle of the month before the money transfers.

Thanks, J.J. said that, I really thought it was the other way around, that it was in the middle when they tally our earnings and the beginning of the next month when we get paid. After what? 2 or 3 years since I got paid here, I guess I had forgotten.

The payment hasn't been made yet this month so you should be paid.

You wouldn't have gotten paid yesterday anyways, as they layout sometime in the first 15 days of the month. They need time to do all the 'paperwork'. Good luck.

Thanks for your comment, but as you can see, I wrote "made enough in the middle of last month " and though it looks like I am a newby, this is actually my second account, I was here for years shortly after they started up, so I know how it works.

It's good that you figured out the issue, and what's not to like about a bigger payout? I've only made about 3 cents so far, so I clearly have a ways to go, myself :)

Don't give up, it is slow going at first and then it will speed up., I know this because I had an account within a year of MyLot starting and deleted my account when they stopped paying. It seems I am earning at the same rate I was before and though it took me months to get my first payout, I soon was getting paid, if not every month, then every other month.

@Carmelanirel2 - that's encouraging! Yes, every site I have joined has required a lot of investment at first. I don't mind staying in for the long haul.
