Don’t you love it when the internet goes down
Oh I hate it when the internet goes down and I can’t do a thing. Second today it gone down first time for maybe 15 minutes the second time for over an hour and just come back on.
I was about to do the notifications I had when the page wouldn’t load, then I noticed there wasn’t any internet. Sometimes I really have to think, we are in the 21st century and it shouldn’t happen but it does.
I don’t have any say in the about the internet because I house share and the landlady is the account holder for the internet.
I hope it doesn’t go any more this evening, does your internet ever go down?

My internet has always been very reliable. The only incidents over the past 13 years or so where a few days of instability while they upgrading telephone lines at the local exchange, which my ISP has no control over.
However, I have experienced this several times while on holiday because many hotel wifi systems are very unreliable.

@kevin1877uk You can be sure that the majority of times it was the actual router and not the ISP connection itself that went offline.

I've had problems with wifi before but today it was the internet. I don't normally have the problems with only at times.

Yes, mine does, but very little, thank goodness. I have comast, and they are pretty good at keeping us up and running all th time. I would go crazy if I didn't have the internet. I do have my Iphone though, that I can use if it ever happens, as I can post in here from it.

@rosekiss I'm not sure how lond my ex-partner had been using them but it was good and fast.

I had comcast when I was over there, went down a few times, but otherwise it was ok.

It shouldn't happen but it does. We lost it when we had 20 seconds to go on a Netflix episode we were watching at about 12:30 at night and it was out till about 5am according to my tester. I am frankly amazed it performs as well as it does. Most problems are supplier problems though, usually in the exchange.

That's about right with only minutes to go before the end of the show :(
Your right it shouldn't happen but it does and that sad to know in this day and age.

@kevin1877uk Most of the problems happen either in the exchange or the ISP systems, they should have monitoring software to tell whether systems are about to crash, or are performing badly. The simple fact is they don't.

it happened to me when I was about to record something from the online radio, it really pissed me off. but eventually let go and do other business.

I know what you mean there I have that problem but I think its down to the wifi and not the interest.

Ours went down all yesterday morning due to BT Wholesale doing repairs. I think the whole town were out unless they used their mobiles. Until another company comes in, BT will always have control.

I have an occasional problem with the internet. When we had our first real cold spell here this year we had one. What is bad bout it here is that it renders our phone useless. So we have to go hunt down a phone. We had cell phones in the past and we sure wish we did when this happens. But, again, it doesn't happen very often.

My internet connection can get really spotty and I have learned, painfully, to save my work more frequently as a result--always an ouch!

It happened to me yesterday on m day off. Woke up in the morning, fed my son, made coffee, sat down to enjoy Netflix...and then I couldn't. I was bummed. We decided to watch 101 Dalmatians instead until the internet returned.

Sorry to hear that yours when down yesterday. From what I'm seeing with this post the internet does go down often at times.

@kevin1877uk Yeah. i think it was down through out the area, not just ours. It also depends on the company you are with too.
