Good afternoon. Here in NH we have set a record of temp hitting the seventies. We are going to get spoiled by this. Finally after a year or so.We used the Olive Garden gift card that my daughter gave us for Christmas.Ms.Ruby was enjoying herself at the day care. This is a rarity for us going out to lunch.Mike not too fond of this. This will be my last time going there.I am not a big fan of Olive Garden. The lunch that I had was horrible. It was Pot Pie Italiano In the pot pie was sausage along with ziti etc. The pasta were over cooked and the crust just typical Italiano they call it.I do not think so. This is for limited time only.Wow! the reason for me as they had it and wanted to try it.Should have not.Mike was please with his.Frittata with spinach and cheese. No more there.Going back to a real Italian resturant. Any fans here for olive garden?

I hear it has been the hottest winter all around. Sorry lunch was not so good. We do like Olive Garden, but we don't go too often. I find that the pasta is often overcooked as well. I do love that salad dressing though! Definitely nothing beats a "real" Italian restaurant!

@much2say the only reason for the pot pie was the curiosity of this.this is not Italian.

@amadeo My parents say the same of pseudo-Japanese restaurants. They say much of it is not authentic.

@amadeo . . . There is no olive garden here in Calgary. Wish there's one so that I could find out how horrible the foods they serve.

We have been to one one time. Hubby does not eat pasta, with the exception of my homemade lasagna. I know there are other things, and what we had was good, but not worth the bother of going.

Nope, I've never really been impressed with the Olive Garden here. The food is mediocre, although there was a ravioli dish (pear and Gorgonzola, perhaps?) that I really enjoyed there several years ago. For me, though, the problem with our location is that the service is abysmal. The last time my husband and I ate there, our waitress basically ignored us. She was in such a hurry to get our table cleared that she took my entree plate before I was done. I still had my fork in my hand, for crying out loud...
