Smells Like Tomorrow's Dinner

My daughter and I decided the special recipe this week will be chiabatta bread and what better to have for dinner than a nice homemade chicken noodle soup? I put the chicken in the crock pot earlier today and cooked it until it was falling off the bone. Letting it cool now. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of chicken but I do make a good chicken soup! We don't do canned soup as I have issues with sodium. Later we'll make the starter for the chiabatta bread. It will sit overnight and tomorrow we'll make the bread. The recipe comes from King Arthur Flour. I've made bread before but this will be the first time make chiabatta.

I never tried making ciabatta bread either, but I found a recipe online for an artisan bread that only costs 40 cents a loaf to make..woohoo!

sounds yummy.. I like just about any kind of soup. Went out for lunch today and I had a bowl of Green Chili soup, to me it wasn't chili but it was very good

I love to make soup it is so easy. There is only once can of soup I ever buy as it can not be reproduced by anyone and that is Heinz tomato soup. MY broccoli and Stilton soup is delicious.

I do buy mushroom soup on occasion but it is usually for part of another recipe. Otherwise all the soup I make is homemade.
