How Bad Can It Get

There was a discussion on here by Cacay1 called The Legal Wife that brought to mind a situation that I knew about a few years back. I was babysitting for a lady who had two little boys, she would bring them over early in the morning and pick them after she returned from work. One day her pick up time came and went so I put the boys to bed and they slept at my home overnight. I knew her and her husband were having some marital problems. She hadn't called or anything but since I had always asked for contact numbers I had some numbers to call. I called her work and was told she no longer worked there. I then called her mother in-law and explained that I had the boys and hadn't seen or heard from her in two days and she came and took the boys home with her. The next day I heard from her and she explained that she had found out her husband had another wife and she was not even really married to him so where did that leave her just a woman with two kids she no longer wanted. How sad is that? I saw her when I was out shopping one day a few months later and I have to say she certainly had gone downhill in looks her hair was unkept, her clothes were dirty and she looked like she hadn't bathed in a month, what a sad situation.

@TiarasOceanView She wanted no more to do with the children and that was really sad to hear as they were innocent of anything.

Wow, that is really a sad story. How in the world could she just walk away without her children? I wonder what became of them?

How weird is that? Just another reason I think some people should not have kids.

@celticeagle There are always some people who should not have children and I don't think it will ever change. How a parent can leave like that and No Want her children is just strange to me.

He is still the father and has to pay for those kids - why didn't she take him to court.

@AbbyGreenhill My impression is she wanted nothing more to do with him or his children as she looked at the situation.

That is a bad situation to be in. It is illigal to marry more the one person. You get get married again but it wouldn't be an official one. There Re some people that practice this but the other women about each other. This does re,old me of the movie that came out I think two years ago called The Other Women.
