It's about time for some good news...

So with all the down-ness I have been feeling, it is nice I have some good news in my life.
I have mentioned that my grandma was in the hospital after having a sever stroke. Well she is finally back home and doing well. Thank you everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts.
I also have mentioned that with the depression it was recommended that I get my medications adjusted but my appointment wasn't until the 18th of April. But I went in today and was able to get in this coming Monday. So I am very happy with that.
And also about a month ago I mentioned that my Dad will be visiting me the first week of April, in which I haven't seen in over two years. And that is coming up next week, so I am super excited about that.
So good things are happening, I just need to fight off the depression now....

Well, it's snowing really hard right now, but earlier we had thunder snow. It was my first time I've seen it

@T_gray - Apparently, it's exactly the same, only with snow. I saw some lightning too.

Today it started raining, just before I left to pick up my friend so we could go shopping.
We go to the shop and had such a good time looking around and talking about our lives. Caught up on lost time. I miss that with her. We laughed much, talked more, laughed more.
The sun came out and for about a half hour I embraced the warmth and enjoyed it while it lasted.
I opened the door today to let some fresh air in. It was a slice of heaven.
Hope you can find a sunny moment to warm your soul.

I am happy that you have some positive things to look forward to. Depression can be very problematic, and having some things to uplift your spirits is great.

Thankful your grand mom is home. Prayers she'll continue to recover and get stronger. Happy to hear your appointment was able to moved up and that you'll get to visit with your Dad next week. We had a good day, went and got some groceries this morning and did some house work when we got home. Nothing extraordinary, but it was a peaceful day and for that I am thankful. It's good to hear so many good news from you. I have just recently told a story to my children, about counting our blessings. Perhaps it's good for us to write down our blessings, then we'll know we are actually very fortunate and blessed.
Do it bit by bit and patiently, and I am sure you'll be able to fight off the depression soon!

Hi Tiff!
One of the best things that mylot offers is friendship. When you feel alone, you can always come here and for sure your days will be lighten up. I believe there are many good people here always ready to share wonderful pieces of advice and can lift your mood.
I am thankful for the family God had given my. My parents, my siblings, my nephew and niece-- all of them help me grow as a responsible person. I am thankful for my perfect health. I have good body organs and all are functioning well. I am thankful for my boyfriend who never leaves me despite my moody behavior at times. I also happy for the jobs I have now both offline and online. Life is wonderful and life is good.Look always on the bright side of life and never forget to thank God for everything.

I had to look at the date and yeah next week is April, oh wow.
I'm glad every thing seems to moving in the right direction, your grandma out of hospital and your doctors appointment moved to Monday.
Nothing happened here today, apart from rain lol, I did make a video and put it in a post.

I am happy to hear good news! Glad your grandma is out of the hospital, and I hope she has a speedy recovery. And that is good you were able to go to your appointment earlier than scheduled! And the first week of April is approaching very quickly

I got the phone call I was waiting for from the new bank that has my mortgage now, and it was more positive than what I've been going through so far and there is a good chance I'll be able to keep the house and not need to move.

hmm, somethin' good that's happened to me? i won the battle with the sewin' machine, took 'bout 6 hours, but i'll take that victory :D
