What you mentioned also helps dissolve fatty stones or gallstones caused by cholesterol.

@besweet Yes we do sometimes take things for granted , I always include native lemon in my diet, I squeeze it whenever I eat something fatty like beef bone marrow soup or things like crabs and shrimps that's high on cholesterol, better to prevent it from forming than just feel a sudden pain in the sides

@louievill It seems like those little habits can help towards a healthy living. Unfortunately most of us remember them only when we are sick.

Drinking water whether cold or warm does aid in digesting fats. She's right about that part but wrong about the cold drinks.

@wittynet I believe the process of digestion would take care of that. Drinking water would just help flush it through.

I don't know what the right answer is but I always drink cold water throughout the day and even with my meals.

Hi, @Marilynda1225. I started drinking warm sometimes hot water when my voice became hoarse and sometimes it hurt. Since then, more than 10 years ago now, I haven't drank cold water yet. It's true.

Hi, @TheHorse! How I wish I like tea. I tried different kinds of tea but haven't found one I like. My search is not yet over. I have been looking for a green tea, color green, not the green tea which is color black, for so many years now. I think I need to go to Japan.
