Play football? Seriously, though, I bet it would make fantastic golumpki. Blanch the leaves, then use them to wrap a mixture of browned ground beef, cooked rice, chopped/diced onion, and tomato sauce. Cover the rolls with a bit more tomato sauce and bake them for a bit. They're fantastic hot or cold, and they freeze well, too.

If you can't cook it, you can just cut and eat it raw...lol It is used in salads here too. It tastes sweet slightly. The recipe I have is Indian style because it is a pretty common vegetable eaten here... If you aren't averse to spicy food you can look into the Indian recipes...

Well, you could paint the face of your most hated person on it, take a samurai sword or kitchen knife and see how many slashes it takes to demolish the object (white cabbage is the vegetable of choice for sound effects departments for a satisfactory 'crunch' when extreme violence is indicated). Once you've done that, of course, you'll end up with about a kilo of roughly-chopped cabbage. (You may want to neaten that a bit). You could put that in a pot with some onion, some bacon or sliced salami or chorizo or some other sausage (a smoked German or Polish sausage works well) and a little water and cook in a slow oven for about an hour until the cabbage is tender.

LOL!!! I think I will enjoy the first part more than I let on. I know I will get their mugshot off facebook and stick it on the cabbage! They have a big head too! HAAHAHAH ya I'd love to hear that crunch noise too! Oh that sounds nice! I shall have to try the polish sausage, if not will default to chorizo. that sounds like a good nippy weather fare!

LOL! Personally, I love to eat white cabbage raw, Wendy.... I rinse it under cold water, remove the outermost leaves and then start pealing the leaves off and eating them... I especially love that crunchy core! If you aren't into raw cabbage, I guess my next favorite is egg rolls. Of course, I bake my egg rolls, since deep frying them is very unhealthy. I also cut back on the sausage I put into my egg rolls. Quit screaming at me! I love meat, so I usually substitute lean ground beef for half the sausage. (Notice the lean part there!) It doesn't do any good to substitute fatty beef when you are cutting oil/fat from the egg rolls! I promise, they are delicious!

Wash and quarter it (discard the core), put it in a pot of boiling water (about 1/3 full of water), add salt and pepper and some bacon grease. Cook until just tender, but not mushy. Drain and enjoy!

I love cabbage. I cut it up and boil it until it's tender and serve it as a side dish with anything! I also love making stuffed cabbage leaves, but as with everything else, you can just cut up the cabbage and cook it along with all the other ingredients instead of doing the stuffing and baking. :)

Warm it up in the microwave after first taking out the core a bit. Then pull off the leaves carefully. Then take hamburger mix with rice and other seasonings you like make an oval shape with the hamburger and roll it inside the cabbage leaf Bake for like 75 to 90 minutes on 350 and eat. Or you can put a sausage inside the leaf and bake the same way or perhaps a bit shorter time. Yummy.

The cabbage will give out some water while it is simmering. When it is almost done I add there either weenies, or any sausage of your choice. When I have some on hand, I add cut up bacon to the onion. There

I can share five ways to cook that monstrosity. First is to make cabbage rolls, There are many recipes on Youtube that you can learn. If you enjoy meatballs, or chinese dimsum, Cabbage rolls will be a hit. You can also buy corned beef, I heard Americans loves cooking corned beef with cabbage, You can also add that thing to a smoothie, Just blend it with your favorite fruits. ----- Or you can do this recipe: Simmer beef cuts of your choice on a pot of water of beef stock if you want it to be tastier. While it is boiling, remove the foam with a spoon so the soup will be clear. Add Potatoes and pepper corns and simmer it a bit in low heat again until the potatoes are a bit tender. Once the potatoes are a bit tender, Add the cabbage, some green onions and 2 corn in a cob cut into 2. Simmer it again until the leafy veggies were cooked according to your liking and now you have a delicious beef and cabbage soup. ---- You can also make a cabbage bread, Or stir fry the shredded cabbage with oyster sauce, sesame oil, shrimp or pork and you have a Chinese style stir fry cabbage.
