If I get enough sleep

If I get enough sleep overnight I wake up ready to conquer the world. I wish I could clone myself. Unfortunately that energy boost does not hang around very long. Right now I have at least two things opened up online to do and I want to run a sink of hot water to bleach the coffee stains from cups and then of course there is laundry, etc. By noon I will likely be out of energy. I have neglected myLot a bit lately, and so I hope to be here a lot. Do you see the big window on the left? I am there right now, watching the world wake up and typing here on myLot.

What do you see from your big window outside? Hopefully you will be able to be around more now.

I see the street of course, and off in the distance I see two highways. Across the road, behind my mailbox is a field. They have "disc golf" goals there. Yesterday I also got to watch some girls fly a kite. I think since I spend so much time here I want to move my bird feeders and bird bath out. I have chairs and a swing out there right now.

I hope you get everything done and you don't lose your energy! I on the other hand have no energy since the baby had me up a lot last night. I am just going to do the best i can today.

You have four children. They will take most of your energy most of the time. My daughter has four kids, she homeschools. Her hubby works full time and does some things at a theater and then they also clean their church. She is tired and the littlest one just turned two.

I hope you were able to hold on to some of your energy so far today! I never wake up energized. I feel the most ready to take on the world late at night, when the world is asleep.

I am going to go get a little nap before my husband gets home. Put my feet up. I just hung out three loads of wash. I am needing him to come home and put my new cupboard in.

I got more done thanl today and I did go sit for about an hour, dozing lightly. It is hot and dry right now. I hung out three loads of wash. Wind is making me crazy.

we dont have a pretty view from the pc room, and keep the shades closed to deal with glare

This is a north facing window and I think that takes care of the glare issues. I have been places where I did have to pull the shades.

@GardenGerty we have two desks on two different walls, and a third guest desk on a third wall. that one is being used for whatevers right now, but it would make that difficult, plus we prefer this room rather dark, we only use a lamp

My sleep determines my energy every day too. And my energy bursts don't go far. I worked yesterday and couldn't find a bit of energy for my house after work.

I think that is part of why I hesitate to really look for work. I am not very good at the housework part as it is, and if I worked I certainly would not have any energy.

Well good morning. Glad to read you have energy to conquer the things most important in your day. I find if I sleep too long, the next day I'm more tired than I would normally be. As it stands, I'm sitting in a train waiting to leave. I'm already late to work, but that is life aboard mass transportation in LA.

So your work knows to expect you late at times. If I had to ride in a commuter train I would likely sleep. Two nights ago I woke up every hour all night long and that is why I was very tired the next day.

@GardenGerty yes they know. Upper management approved my schedule, although they don't know I come in late every morning but my supervisor doesn't get upset. She knows I'm a good worker and complete my work on time.

Did you manage to accomplish your tasks and still have some energy? I miss sitting near the window in our living room. Once the grandfather clock is delivered to my son and his wife I will be able to put the rocking chair back where it belongs. Then I can sit in comfort and relax on my days off and look out the window. Now I have to sit on the couch and look out the window from afar.

Perhaps you can space out the work during the day. I think you are trying to do a lot during the morning hours. It sure is tiring just thinking of doing this and that.

I did some stuff this morning, some this afternoon. I rested a while and then will get busy again.

Sometimes we try to handle things at once and we feel as if we have a whole lot of energy but somehow it isn't so. Take it easy. Don't over do it. Rest up and see what you're able to tackle later.

I am running out of steam too... and it's just 10:05! I have no idea why and I was in bed by 9:30 last night. Just can't keep my eyes open!

I also run out of energy fairly quickly. Especially around noon. My dogs and I almost always have to have a nap after lunch. I do have good days where I can get a lot done but they are few and far between.

Looks like you have a nice view from your window. I can totally relate to running out of energy by noon

I tried some exercise today that @scheng1 shared in a video. I think they will help.

I ignore the coffee stains in my coffee mugs and let them alone. There are much more interesting things to do.

There are other things that benefit from the bleach. It is just an extra step. All my dishes are getting a refreshing as I unpack them and move them around. I have stronger natural light at this house and can see the dirt and stains just a little too well.

As long as I'm on a roll I get a lot done. If something interrupts the flow I have trouble getting going again.

I do so here you on that. I got a few things half way accomplished today, and a meal on the table, so I guess I am good.

I need to get some more sleep too. I had been lacking some sleep the past days and I feel drained.
