Banana And Strawberry Jam

I just had half of a banana which I dipped in a little bit of strawberry jam. I love it that way and have done it since I was a little kid. Do any of my Mylot followers have this weird way of eating bananas? I also had a 12 grains toast with peanut butter, the crunchy one only for me. And the usual coffee and a small piece of Cheddar cheese. Everything hit the spot as I was pretty hungry this morning which is pretty rare. The fresh air and sun from yesterday must be the reason.

That sounds fine apart from the peanut butter, which does not appeal to me at all.

You must be a rare breed if you don't like peanut butter.

Nothing weird for me. I like a banana 'as it comes'.

@Drosophila - my poor mum and her disappointment. I'm off to visit this weekend. Must see if I can pick up a few more 'My mother and....' stories.

@marlina our country is rich in bananas, it's one of our main exports, we have lots of varieties, that it's even made into chips, desserts and even vegetables in a dish we call "pochero" we think of much weirder stuff to do with our bananas

Not in my case. The banana I eat it without jam, always at the end of every meal, whether lunch or dinner.

I will try the banana-strawberry-jam dip! Sounds good to me. I usually dip my banana in fat-free Cool Whip.

I have never added anything to my banana but I love it cut up with yogurt and granola for breakfast...You toast and peanut butter, the crunchy kind is my favorite too for breakfast but I never added cheese. I will give it a try...I haven't had breakfast yet so now I will have to decide what I want...

My favorite is to have peanut butter on toast and then slice up a banana. It is very filling that way, and I usually take it as a supper myself. I only buy the 12 grain bread too, its the healthiest there is out there in my opinion. I hope that you feel strong enough today to get out and enjoy some more of the wonderful weather!

Well I've had a peanut butter toast with jam and bananas so can relate- but not that way! I'm a smooth peanut butter eater- and I also love cheddar- only cheddar- cheese- with jam. I love other cheeses but would never add jam. I would also eat jam and bacon. So that's my weird contribution
