Things have gotten monotonous. I even bore myself sometimes. Day in and day out it is same old, same old... I need to break things up a little. I could try bungee jumping I suppose, but that might break things up a lot, mainly ME! Lol... So, do you ever feel yourself getting into a rut. If so, how do you nudge yourself out of it??

When I get in a rut, I just lift my right leg and step out of it.

@jahunt Go do something. It is just boredom. Go see a movie, or try out a new eatery. Go for a walk in a park, take a shower with your clothes on. Just do something different.

I am really happy with what I do each day. I don't really embrace change well, and change happens that I can't control in my life so my routine I am okay with it staying the same.

@jahunt Well thank you so much for the compliment. I have been through a lot in my life, so I think it's mostly experience from all I have gone through.

There are so many little ways that you can break your monotony. Even rearranging furniture could be an interesting proposition.

Well I would not bungee jump to get out of a rut!! LOL! I was in a rut a few days ago. Thought about cutting my long hair to my shoulders. I have to retreat, breathe, and talk occupy myself with other things.

Yes, that usually works for me too. I have these feelings once in a blue moon but I usually get busy with something and they go away..

Since I have a place in the open country. Whenever I feel my lifestyle is becoming a boring routine, I pack and go camping; I may stay there for three days. The nights are the one which give me more satisfaction, since I can observe the starry skie with zero light pollution. When returning, I renewed approach is always sensed within me.

@jahunt Yes, it is! During the nights, I not only observe the stars, but I also go walking with my dogs (Kenia, algodon) who accompany me and act as my body guards. It´s a thrill that travels through the body to go into the dark and into the bushes with my dogs smelling and hunting for their protein needs.

Yes, I think it's the work home, sleep work again scenario that gets to me sometimes. Lol!
