Do you snap chat?

I visited my friend who lives in Denver who was telling me about how everyone SnapChats. Keep in mind, he is 26 years old. He was totally obsessed with it, it seems, and would be constantly checking it - or taking photos and editing them.
I will admit - there are some cool filters when you Snapchat - how you can change your photo to sepia, different colors, black and white, and add text to it. That part is cool. The rest though? I don't think it's for me.
He made a good point though. Apparently with Snapchat, you send someone a photo or video of something, and the other person gets to view it for a few seconds or a minute or whatever, and then it is gone. (So, drunk texts or photos may be a thing of the past) - although I think there must be a way to save a photo or video.
I am not starting Snapchat. MyLot and Facebook are enough for me in my opinion. Do you "snap"? Care to explain what the big deal is?

No, I don't do Snapchat but my son does. I don't see the purpose in it since the photo or video doesn't stay long.

I'm 27 years old ans I have a snapchat but I don't use it nor do in know how to use it correctly. I have other things that keep my busy ans what I take pictures of isn't myself but my kids. I don't have time for selfies.

I never tried...reason is also the fact that my phone doesn't support snapchat....lol!
I don't like to be socially active a lot btw...
