I used to have a pet parakeet who would fly around the house until he found me. he would perch on my hand as I applied eye make-up then he would peck the eye make-up off.

Female Zebra Finch - female zebra finch in cage

Yes. I have 5 zebra finches (3 males and 2 females, no nest boxes, no breeding). 1 came from the humane society, the rest came from an office that couldn't keep them.
