I'm LouAnn, but also go by Lulu.
The only time anyone calls me by my first name is if I’m in trouble :)
My mom encouraged me to start a mylot, so here's a little bit about me:
I’m just your average country girl.
I was born in Maryland but brought up in both NC and MD for several years.
I love the country and it’s where I consider home.
My life is very regular degular to say the least. I’m not a professional chef, photographer, or anything like that! I recently started a blog (seekingspices.com) and I work from home at a normal 8-5.
I married my college sweetheart (is that a thing?) whom I adore so very much and often refer to as Hubs.
Hubs is really the mvp. He eats all my food failures and that’s just another reason why I love him.
I’m not a mommy yet; Although, I like to think of my site as the un-mommy blog since all I’m missing are the kids lol! But we're trying! (More on that later!) (Unless furbabies count, which in that case we have one named Tuna!)
I love food and making life fun. And folks, that doesn’t mean expensive.
To me, money holds little value. It doesn’t take a lot to make memories, good food or even home decor on your own!

Hi Lulu! Welcome here in Mylot. I am surprised that your mom also do mylotting. You are an obedient child to follow her wish. Anyway, mylotting is a good way to know more about other people, gain new friends, get more information and earn extra earnings. It is nice to know that you are a blogger. I would like to start my own blog soon but I still need to seek help from other friends whom I think are more knowledgeable than me because I really don't know how to start. I hope you will have your kids soon and I am glad that you are enjoying your life. Have a good day!

@SeekingLulu Wow! thank you so much for that. I have learned that it is cheaper to use wordpress dot org than wordpress dot com. However, it seems complicated to do blogging in wordpress dot org. You are right, I feel a bit intimidated doing my blog because I am afraid of wrong grammar or ideas not being clear.

@SeekingLulu Thank you so much. I have read many recommending the use of wordpress. By the way, I am still looking for way on how can I install wordpress dot org. Do you already know programming? I think I need to learn even a little of it for the blogging, am I right?

@annierose You're welcome! Wordpress.org is a much better choice because it's self hosted and trust me, it is way better than the .com version. I use to use Blogger as my platform but I've switched to Wordpress and haven't looked back since! Also, don't be fearful. Blogging should be fun and freeing

Hey Jennifer! Thank you very much! I hope I enjoy it too, it's been so much fun the first day. I wasn't expecting so many sweet comments but it's such a great surprise if I do say so myself I followed you and hope to see your posts as well!
