Thank you .... art is in the eye of the beholder, I find your prose as a form of art. I haven't seen grasshoppers here in a very long time, now if we were to get rain on a regular basis maybe they'd come out this way ..... not too crazy about them though, they tend to be destructive and we don't have enough of their predators to keep em in check if they came this way.

@rebelann yer welcome :) aw, schucks, ya say the sweetest thingies. there's millions here, feastin' 'pon the weed invasion 'til they're outta the nymph stage...then they'll move onto my veggies, flowers 'n trees :( i've put out nolo bait the past few years, the neighbor 'cross the road, too. i'd great hopes such'd be no trouble this year. i've loads'f toads, birds, lizards, prayin' mantis 'n spiders - the army seems outnumbered :(

Thank you Angela, Is it still too cool up yonder? It's finally beginning to cool down a little here, last week we got the first couple days of relief from the triple diget heat and today it's actually sprinkling a little and nice n cool. We laughingly call this our monsoon season which means we might get a little rain, so far so good but the rain only lasts about 2 minutes if that.
