As promised, better donuts

The donuts turned out very good, VERY filling, and tasty. I would suggest not using super dark chocolate for the glaze. Next time we may try truvia glaze, I honestly don't think they need more chocolate on them. Other than that, they were easy to make. I got donut pans on Amazon with refund monies, as well as the chocolate protein powder (as I wanted low calorie low carb powder). Everything else I was able to get locally.
Plus they have 106 odd calories and 9 carbs, SO much better than a store bought donut. I am including the link so those of you who have diet restrictions, or are trying to lose weight/eat healthier, can check it out.

@Jessicalynnt Donuts look like what we call 'Bara',but 'bara' is not sweet.A bara is also a fried bread.

the photo is of the donuts, often they are a sweet bread, made to look like that, eaten for breakfast

It would work I think if next time we add more stevia to the donut, it needed to be a bit more sweet

they look really good! is truvia a sugar substitute? did you use chocolate protein powder as a substitute for flour?

truvia is a name brand for stevia. Stevia is a plant that gets used as a sugar substitute. Naw, this has almond flour it it, and whole grain flour too. I used a low carb baking mix for that part

Since I don't plan to make them or read the recipe I am assuming they are fried if they aren't then most wouldn't consider them a donut. I have not eaten a donut in 35 years.

@AbbyGreenhill based on ingredients and how these are made (baked no grease), they are prob more muffins than donuts.

baked donuts appear to be a thing, but yeah, they could be more of a muffin.

there are all kinds of protein powder out there (even slimfast and stuff is really protein power), walmart has some with the diet stuff (in the pharmacy for our walmart), this one I got online though as I wanted lower sugar and calories than I could find at the store

these are rather filling, If I get a big old glass of tea, 1 donut is plenty, 2 tops. but that is true with any food. so better to eat the same amount of these than of the old style donuts with 400+ calories in one donut
