What a Flippin' Mess!

My living room is such a mess. That is the place where all of the boxes that will be moved to the new place and the boxes of tag sale items have ended up. Today I have to move more to the new place. The items I have boxed for the tag sale will need to be moved to one of the spare rooms for now. My kitchen looks like a cyclone struck it! Most everything is out of the cupboards and await transfer to boxes for moving. My sister helped me box up stuff and move some of it to the new place. She regretted it last night. In a text she said that she had her husband put "icy hot" on her aching back. Only have one client today. So, after this brief post, I am heading off to clean the bathroom at the new place. Will bring a few boxes to put away later in the day. I am meeting someone after work is done, who will be buying the bunk beds. Will be glad to see them go! The weekend fast approaches and we will be fully moved by then. May not have everything in place or the repairs done, but at least we will be moved in.

That is the biggest thing to be moved in and then other repairs can be done. Selling the bunk beds is a good thing.

@Marcyaz We delivered the beds to her. She gave us $10 for gas.

Now waiting for the woman to call me back. She was supposed to meet me at 9, and now can't do it til the afternoon. I sent her a message to say that I am open most of the day as my client has cancelled.

@ElusiveButterfly Good then you should be able to come to a mutual agreement on the time.

Moving home is always a formidable task because we never seem to realise just how much stuff we actually have.

When you "collect" things over the years they mysteriously appear from out of the woodwork when you are moving.

It all seems to have taken place very quickly. I hope it doesn't get too much worse before it gets better!

@JudyEv tomorrow is the big move. All that is left will either be stored for a tag sale, donated, or brought to the dump.

Ugh, I don't envy you at all. I have moved too many times and it's exhausting and stressful. I hope everything goes as planned for you.

I told my husband the last time we moved, which was 6 years ago, that I didn't want to move for a long long time. I guess change comes when we least expect it. Hoping the next move to be a permanent one.

Moving is a huge headache and I swore the last time I did it I'd never do it again. Hope you survive the week and get all moved in this weekend. Unpacking is so much easier

Yeah, I hope the next one to be a permanent one. Don't want to do this again. It is brutal! At least I will have less stuff to contend with....hopefully!
