~Stroke Like Symptoms~

Last night was not a good evening. My husband was home for about an hour and suddenly his whole right side of his body was going numb and tingling. He had a headache and he was slurring his words.
He was thinking about going to the hospital but instead he went to bed. Depending on how he's feeling this morning when he gets up he might get checked out. It scared me a lot because he was so scared.
We prayed before bed and I am just hoping he's okay now.

I have had stroke like symptoms with a migraine so that may be what it is, It is scary for sure but I have had it 3 separate times.

@BelleStarr I have had the same symptoms also with an aura migraine, I am praying that's all it was. He has also been working a lot in the heat lately so it could have been that too.

I hope your husband feels better! It's best to go to the doctors for a visit though.

I hope it wasn't a stroke. If it was you should go to the hospital immediately. If caught within three hours of the beginning of symptoms most of the damage can be avoided. It is possible that overwork can cause similar symptoms. It is better to be safe than sorry though.

@koopharper I hope not either. As you said overworking (which he has done a LOT lately) can cause the same symptoms and so can migraines. I am thinking it was one of those but it was scary seeing him like that.

@LovingMyBabies I'd tell that if it happens again you're taking him to the hospital whether he wants to go or not. I know easier said than done.

oh Jennifer I hope not but he should have gone to an ERn as those are symptoms of a stroke I had those got sent to ER and I was lucky' not a stroke a severe urinary tract infections antibiotics cure it in a few days.

@Lolaze I told him those are the symptoms for that as well because I get those. He's never had one before.

@MALUSE I know. I wish he went to get checked but he didn't want to. I am just praying he's okay today and that it was something else.

I hope he is ok when he wakes up. Make sure he goes to a Doctor if he is not.

I hope he is well by now, my prayers are with you and the rest of family, just keep praying everything will be okay.
