Lunch Over Warming Outside Nice Lunch

These new cooks err on quantity like restaurants do,.I had a nice tomato cucumber salad then they brought this plate covered with penne pasta in
tomato sauce and tomatoes and Zucchini.Then two slices of garlic toast.
there must have been at least three cups of pasta. I ate as much as I was comfortable with and did not touch the garlic toast.
"For dessert we had cheese cake. Nice lunch just way too much pasta.
Don't they know the sight of a heaping plate of food sort of stops one's
appetite? It did mine as that much pasta eaten would shoot up my blood
glucose too high. It was delicious but too much food so I ate what was a normal portion and left the rest.

Mmmm. Cheese cake. We had that the other night. I have been hungry for stuffed green peppers lately. I think they might be good with some zucchini mixed in the rice maybe. Garlic toast is so yummy!

yes as I have t o manage not to overeat what shoots up my blood sugar they do not try to make things easier for us diabetics the ombudsman for retirement centers told my
son that these centers just do not understand
diabetes at all.

@Hatley I'm surprised they don't get it. It isn't like it's something out of the ordinary in retirement centres.
