Every one talks about the weather, but no one does anything about it. I notice that is true on here as well.
Forecast for my area, it got down below 80 F overnight, and it will go up to about 93 F today. A little lower the rest of the week.
We have a bit of cloud cover and there is the chance of thunderstorms all week. At least until Thursday.
I have been up more than two hours, and have had coffee and a bowl of cereal. I will be making hubby a smoothie pretty soon. We ate kind of skimpy yesterday, but it was probably good for us.
Church this morning. Hubby will grill ribs for tonight.
Guess that is my weather report and activity calendar for today.

Mmmm. I have wanted ribs all summer. We ate in yesterday. Had been eating out because of being so tired. A lot going on and wish it were cooler. In the 90's and have a couple fires in the area.

The smoke from fires in the area must be oppressive. The ribs were good, but the rub he used was spicier than I like. While we were sitting in the hot tub today I got hubby to think about how much we are actually spending eating out. I think we were conservative in our estimate and he was shocked.

@GardenGerty ......Eating out is expensive. I have noticed how much it has gone up in the last year.

My last check of the weather for next week shows highs in the upper 80's and possibility of thunderstorms all week.

Noone does nothing for anything, it seems. I like to think that my small garden in the middle of the city helps. People cut trees, but donĀ“t replace it with younger greens

That is an old saying we have, "Everyone talks about the weather but no one does anything about it." Some of us are like you and do what we can by maintaining green spaces in our yards. It does help.

We have a large heat wave going on clear across the United States. I am in Kansas. I am also fortunate that we have not had a fire in a while.

It's supposed to cool down a bit today here in the LA area but August is coming and that usually means scorched earth.

This year is really hot, so I hope it is not too bad in August.

It has cooled down here a little, too, temps in the low 90s and upper 80s. Still too hot for me. It cools down quite a bit at night, though, because the air is thinner (high altitude). When it was 68 overnight, i thought I was going to die. It's usually in the upper 50s to lower 60s at night here

That's warm at night. At least my area generally goes below 70 at night even when the day's high gets into the triple digits.

When it does not get that cool, the house never seems to cool off either. I enjoyed my day today.

It's a bit warm here. I hope it will rain tonight or in the late afternoon.

Does rain help your area cool off or does it get hot and muggy? I hope you get rain if you want it.
