It takes a while to get your earnings up. The best thing you can do is to comment on others discussions and they will often comment on yours.

Earnings have rather little to do with the amount of time you spend here. They have EVERYHING to do with how much interaction you get on your discussions, responses and comments. It will pay you to read the Community Guidelines and the Earnings Program FAQs so that you understand how it works and what you should and should not do here.
The better the quality of your discussions and responses and the more you respond to and comment on other people's discussions, the more likely it is that others will interact with you.
MyLot will certainly never make anyone rich and you can't expect to make very much on your first day.. You have to be here regularly and be 'social' yourself in order to begin to get known and find people who will respond to your discussions regularly.

What @infatuatedbby explained is so true. You cannot pretend to make money only a couple of days after you joined. Anyway do not expect to make hundred of dollars in a month here. I am very active and the maximum I made was a little more than 2$ in one day.

I've made nearly a dollar here in one day, some have made way more.
It all depends upon how interesting other members find your discussions.
As a new member it may be worth your while not posting discussions for a while and purely responding and commenting to other peoples discussions.
You'll get to know more people and you'll get to know how the site works.
You'd also maybe pick up a few friends who will respond to your discussions if they like them.

Better than some worse than a few...but I'm happy with it.
This site is about more than the money.
If you stick around long enough you'll see that and the money will become secondary to the friendships you can make here.
On this acount I've been here a few months but overall I've been on mylot for over 5 years now and it's the best site of its type.

I have known few myLotters who earn more than $1 in a day. But they are already well known here and they are working very hard to earn that amount.

30 to 50 cents a day on average. You are still new and have yet to make yourslef known. Keep interacting and replying. You will get there.

No, you're doing good.
The highest I've earned in a day is $1.0099 even without posting discussions.
