The most important thing to do first is to read the Community Guidelines so that you understand what is meant by a 'discussion'. Questions which simply ask 'What is your favourite film?' or something like that do not make for discussion. You have to not only give people the opportunity of giving their feelings, ideas and opinions on a subject but also have something to say about it yourself, especially when people respond.
Next, you need to respond to other people's discussions with thoughtful, relevant and informative - 'good quality' - responses and comments. That is the way that you will encourage people to want to read more of what you post and to respond to your discussions, if they find them interesting.

It takes me almost one week to have my $1 here. Just ignore the earnings and enjoy your mylotting moments in here. You will not earn a very big amount here. But for sure, Mylot still has more things to offer rather than earning.

@sakinasaifee18 If you want to earn more you'll have to spend a lot of time here, responding, commenting and interacting intelligently. Then you'll begin to see a bit more earning but just be warned that this earning will probably be able to buy you coffee or candy.

Read through the Guidelines/Faq when you have a chance, they will explain it to you much better. But you get paid based on how much you interact and others interact with your posts. Make sure your posts are following the rules - they might be getting deleted if they are not rule-abiding. Other than that, it's slow earnings! You have to be very active to reach payout it seems. But best of luck to you.

Earnings are just a bonus to the fun one has in discussions here on mylot. Its my third day and i have 52 cents. And you would not believe it I just checked the earnings after watching this post because i love the discussions and posts here.

Good for you though. It is my second day today and t barely made one cent. Lol. But what can i say, i like to interact with people, and i thought i am opinionated so better earn a little out of it than nothing at all. I guess patience is a virtue in here. Those cents would accumulate and earn us some dollars. Interact more and those cents will keep on coming.
