It Worked

I started mylotting this morning before chores instead of in the evening as I usually do. I wanted to prove to myself if it is actually my computer or if there are so many people here in the evenings that the site is too weak to handle all the commerce. It worked like a charm this morning, but when I came on this evening it's the same old thing, computer hanging up and having to reboot every little while. So it must be the site. In the future I will get on in the morning if possible. Have you had this same problem?

Actually myLot for me gets slow when it is about 5 -6 p.m. here in the Philippines .

@SIMPLYD Sounds strange that it would be the same for both of us, but probably everyone in the Philippines are on in the evenings there, and many in the U.S are on in the evening here.

@celticeagle The only reason I can think of is the site doesn't have enough servers to accommodate so many at the same time.

sometimes i have problems here, but i can't remember if it's morning, afternoon or evening, and not to the point that it's hanging. i just press on, or quit, depending on my mood or time available.

I haven't had any problems, and I'm usually here late at night after my day is done. I'm just glad you found out what the problem was so you can work around it the best you can!

I tend to have more of a problem when using chrome than I do firefox, so I've blamed my browser most times. I've not paid enough attention to notice if it's worse at one point during the day or night more than the other, but maybe I'll try to make a note of it and see. Unless it's raining, I will normally have a bit more time later in the day than I do in the mornings.

Being in Australia it's probably always more quiet on the site when I'm on. I know in the afternoons there seems to be very few new posts.

Nope, I do not have this problem. I am having different time zone with United States, and I think it's fine with me as I do not have a fixed time to access mylot, sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the evening. I am not sure if it's the site issue or it's your Internet connection. I did experience slower Internet connection during working hours here, I guess it's because there are more people connecting to the Internet during working hours.

It's the same with our wifi here. It is slow in the evening. It's maybe because too many people are using their computers at night so the site becomes slow.

You could be right, maybe it is the wifi. That's what my better half has said. But mylot is the only place I have problems.
