My daughter came to pick me up to have lunch at her house.

My youngest daughter has been very helpful and has been taking more care of me since we went together to St. Maarten. I think that was a wonderful moment to bond and it sure helped. Today, after she learned about the problems with my brother, she came to pick me up and she took me to her home for lunch. In the evening, before bringing me home, we went to talk with people who sell houses. I will make an appointment by phone with them so that I can get an approximate value of my house. I really want to sell my house as soon as I can.

Its so nice to see kids still loving and caring about parents, while quite a few kids these days find it hard to make any time from their "oh-so-busy-schedules" to even call up and ask about their parents' health. Really happy for you, Marguicha. God bless you both.

why do you want to sell your house? Isn't everything O.K.? why don't you sell it to your daughter or leave it to your son?

I want to buy a smaller house near the metro. As for the rest of yout answer, both of my daughters have their own houses, And I don´t have a son. I have grandsons and their parents can provide for themif needed. I believe that parents should provide an education to clever children and the rest must be done by them.

How nice to be able to spend some time with your daughter and that she is being supportive of you. It's good she lives close by. My kids are all grown and live far from me and my husband..

She only lives at 10 min away by car. I could even walk to her house if I had the energy I used to have.

So lovely of your daughter to spend time with you, l feel this is an important time for bonding, life gets in the way as we get older and we sometimes ignore bonding with people who love us most.

So true! She has been talking to me by phone and tomorrow she will pick me up and we´ll go to look at houses that are on sale in the neighborhood I like.
