Birthday Dinner

Today was my better half's sons birthday. All his family met at Seeds and we had a lovely visit with family and a delicious dinner. My son came over later to charge the battery in my car which needed charging. He and my daughter in law had worked most of the day on the computer but he took the time to do his mother a good favor, which I appreciated. It was a tiny bit cooler today, but still hot. I'm looking forward to next week. The weather forecast tells us the temperature will be down to the eighties, which will give us some relief. I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend. Sleep well tonight.

@enlightenedpsych2 I have enjoyed my grandchildren, my granddaughter and grandson used to spend almost every weekend with us. But they're older now and have their own things to do. Kids grow up. My better half's grandchildren are younger but they don't live near.

@enlightenedpsych2 That is sad. Why would they do that. I think my kids enjoyed a break while the kids were at grandmother's. Some of mine used to come for holidays and most of summer vacation.

It is 10:30; Anne is in bed, my daughter's Chihuahua is quiet in his kennel, hoping for quiet night and one for you as well.

Too bad the weather over here will not get so cool. I think our high humidity makes the heat more unbearable. Good of your son to help you to change the battery. It sure saves you a lot of money when he can help you for free.

No, it wont hold the charge. My son said it's better not to drive it until he has time to check it out. It was supposed to be down in the 80s this week but it hasn't made it yet.

Its nice to have a helpful son. I have two of them. I'm not sure what I would do without them. Our weather has cooled down a bit due to Tropical Storm Julia. Unfortunately we're not done with the hot weather. It will be back.
