Ha Ha on Me Today

Sheesh! I know that I am always super busy and that my days just string together, but how did I let it slip my mind when I woke up this morning that it's Wednesday??
I got up, took my bath right away. I knew that, as I had written in my last post here, that I planned to get my blog post up before starting anything else online.
Well.....I did get a blog post up, just not the one that needed to go up today! 
This is Wednesday which means putting up my WIP Wednesday post. I was even taking pictures last night of things I've worked on the past week to put into the post.
Did I wake up and put that post up? Of course not. Instead I did a review of Vintage Sparkle, a set of cute little boxes to make. I had intended to do that post on Monday, but got sidetracked.
Oh well, guess I will title tomorrow's blog post WIP Wednesday on Thursday Again.
I decided to put in a picture today that will be included in that blog post tomorrow. On the quilt shop hop we received a pattern from each shop we visited. Right away I seen 2 of the blocks that I wanted to give a try, so I did. The pink block is a disappearing 4 patch. The other with the aqua blue is called a disappearing 9 patch. They were both fun to make. Eventually I do plan to make a quilt with the types of blocks, but my plan right now is to use them for some of the fabric boxes that I have in mind for Christmas gifts this year.
Ok, hopefully tomorrow I will get back to posting about things at the baby shower. I hope you all are having a great Wednesday!

't least ya posted somethin' there'n yer blog, lol. i keep sayin' i'm gonna, but aint yet :) think 'tis been o'er a month 'gain? oh well...
jest love yer blocks! so that's what a disappearin' 4 patch's 'pposed to look like, eh? dang, i'm gonna need to make me some'f those. jest adore that fabric, too!

@marsha32 i confess to watchin' some videos'f this process (disappearin' 4 patch) 'n t'was utterly horrified, lol. i think i'll stick with the 9 :) i'm gigglin' o'er yer list 'f ongoin' projects 'n so admire yerself 'n others who can do such. i'd go stark ravin' mad! lol.

I like the colors and the sizes of the blocks on the quilt block on the left more than the other one. At first I didn't see the little squares on the outer section of the two, since on the left they are all in the center. I was looking at it and wondering, for it did look like the blues and rectangle pieces were all the same size, but I didn't see how it would fit without having the flowered small square on them too. Then I saw it hiding at the ends.
I wonder why it's called a 'disappearing... patch'?

I hope you got organized this morning and were able to get those blogs done you wanted to do yesterday. My Wednesday was very good. I finally am listening to SB TV and working here so I'm getting all my points. I got both goals yesterday and I'm close to having them both today as well.

@marsha32 But don't you still need to hit the button when the end of a video section - say twenty - is finished? I've been running them too but I need to pay attention to them so I can start another lot. I've been hitting quota as well, though probably not today as they just don't want to run today like they have the last couple days. The screen freezes on me or it completely disappears. So I'm wondering if I need to have only that tab open and nothing else once again like I did for the old computer.

Guess that means you couldn't get that leak fixed.
OMG!! I sure hope ours doesn't go out since idiot bought 100 pounds of pulled pork. He thinks he is going to smoke it and sell it by the pound to people at church and the money go to the next mission trip. You know we couldn't afford to buy that meat!! Not to mention he only has orders for 5 lbs.

My daughter gets food stamps. She shops ahead, but I wish she would plan out the whole month, at least in meats.

Life just takes so much time, doesn't it? Would be nice to have a few hours daily to do the writing, etc. we really want to do!

My quiet time is after the grandkids go to bed at night until hubby gets up for work about 1 am. Of course I am working solely in the traffic exchanges at that time.

The major blog that I linked my WIP post up with every week decided after 5 years to stop having the linky. I do like to keep up for various reasons. Sometimes, yes, it's an inconvenience to lay out what I am working on to take a picture.
