My husband's aunt is a really good person. She took my husband in when he was 13 years old because his own parents chose drugs/alcohol over him. He was living on his own when she took him in. His parents moved to Mexico without him. She fed and clothed him for years as if he was her own... Now to the present day...her own son is kicking her out and she will be on the street this week. She's in her 60's living off only disability as she cannot work anymore. I know our home is on the small side but my husband and I cannot allow her to be homeless. So, if no one will allow her to live with them she's going to stay with us. She was there when he needed her so we're going to be there for her now. It will be different but we will make it work...

God bless you. That is so kind. I am so glad she will find a place in your home. I know you don't have a while lot of room but at least won't be on the street.

@Happy2BeMe, too bad for a son to do that to her mum.If he only knew hoe his mother cared him when he was a child, then he might have conscience not to brutally do it to her, bad son.Karma to that bad son.

Very sweet of your husband and even though you guys have a small place - you're willing to make space. I hope all works out! Does she live far away?

Wow! That was so nice of his aunt to take him in. I can't believe his parents would do this to him. It's nice that you wouldn't let her be homeless. We'd do the same for my mother-in-law, who has been there for us as well. You and your husband are good and kind people.

At least make it work till you can get a place of her own. I used to rent to people on disability all the time and they made ends meet. Your a good woman!

@andriaperry She only makes $600 a month and you can't get a place to live here for that unless you want to live in a horrible area. She wouldn't be safe.

What the hell?! her son kicking her out, is he out of his mind?! WHY? Ungrateful man! I wish she can go back in time and not make that decision! But it was really courageous of you to take her in. No house is too small for good hospitality.

@Letranknight2015 I know! It's very wrong for him to kick her out. He said he's single and his mom was cramping his style! I'm grateful we can help her though.

How sad that her own son is putting her out like that. You and your hubby have good kind hearts, and you know what matters in life, she'll be lucky to stay with you.

There will be some pitfalls, I am sure. Why is her son kicking her out?! It may be something special God has planned for you and your family.

Oh so pitiful lady, may her son rot in hell, how dare she can afford to kick her mother out from her home.If your husband's aunt owns the home, it should be her son to kick out.Better she report that matter to police to jail her aunt's son.I am so happy you would adopt her. Cheers for your kind heart.

@cacay1 My husband said he's not a good person at all and he's not surprised he kicked her out. It's so sad. I'm grateful we can help her. She doesn't own the home, it's her son's home.

You are doing a wonderful thing taking her in just as she did a wonderful thing for your husband when he was a young boy/man. I know you will make it work. What an awful thing for her son to do to her.

@Hazysue Thank you. We're glad we can help in her time of need. It is awful that her son is kicking her out. And he's doing it because he's single and wants to live a single life without his mom being around. Its really sad.
