@Julie555 I read that he did not want to be stereotyped as Mr. Bean. I think he has a point cause I once watched a not so sure but I think it's a serious spy Rowan Atkinson film and it's hard concentrating on the story cause Mr. Bean is always at the back of my mind

guess most of those who watched that experienced the same.

I know what she means there are a few Series here in Spanish that I cannot get into no matter how I try. But Mr. Bean is always funny anytime. We don´t see much of him here but when we do we always watch him love him very clever and funny man.

Rowan Atkinson is now doing more serious stuff now and his next series of Maigret is out at Christmas. Even acting in a serious role he makes me think of Bean, so it doesn't work for me. Blackadder is his best stuff.

Some years ago when the Mr Bean series came to German TV, I watched too many too often. It was an overkill of funniness. That was silly of me. Now I can't enjoy the jokes anymore as I once did.
