I finally got around to putting on socks and shoes. It feels so good to put on warm socks on a winter day. I found a sock image on Pixabay.
Other things that I really enjoy are 1. getting into my heated bed at night, 2. putting on a soft warm shirt for the day 3. A hot shower in a warm room.
The cool winter temps seem to make me appreciative of all these little things.

On a cold day, putting on the shirt that just came out of the dryer.....bliss.

It's time for socks here, too, even though it's rarely gets below 65. My feet get cold as I age. It does feel good to put on some soft, fuzzy socks! I also put a comforter on my bed last night and my dog loved it!

Thanks. I enjoy images that make me smile. I do not wear sweats to work, but they are great at home and on weekends.

it's hard to find a good pair of socks anymore.i end up stacking 2 or 3 pairs, and they wear out so fast.i remember having some in the 70's that were so nice and thick i only got rid of them cause i outgrew them.

They are not as cute, but men's socks are the best. There are warm hunting socks, made with wool.

Whereabouts does your son live, or may I ask? I am about midway between north and south, and over to the east a bit. The cold is why we are needing to find hubby a car with a working heater that is reliable.

Wouldn't that be nice. They did not tell us where to get them, though.

Some of the best parts of winter, as well as warm beverages, too.

It makes the transition a little less abrupt when you can do this.

heated bed? I turn the heat way down at night I don't think I could stand that much heat. I usually throw the covers off no matter how chilly/cold it is.

I prefer the heat off, the bed warm when I get in and then off. Luckily we have dual controls, as hubby wants to be "toasty"
