I am bored!

Sometimes being very organized is not a good thing. I am all done with Christmas stuff and my time is my own. That's not good, it makes my brain go in many different directions (at the same time!).
So, what to do , what to do? It is a dreary, grey, cold, slightly rainy day. Therefore, to cheer myself up I am looking at vacation rentals for the spring and summer. I usually book early, but this is early even for me.
First I have to decide on a state (either GA, NC or SC), then a specific area (Helen, GA.....Murhy, NC.....John's Island, SC. We have never been to John's Island but the problem with that location is 8 hour drive time.
The problem with NC or GA - no salt water to smell or seafood to catch or shrimp to eat! But the rides are much shorter and easier on all of us.
Decisions, decisions....Glad I have lots of time.

I go into my sewing room, that where I was all afternoon. I saw a photo of a Christmas quilt. I drafted a pattern to turn it not a lap quilt that I can enter into the local fair next fall. I now have 8 of the needed 20 blocks assembled.

I don't know . . . I haven't been bored in a long time 
.
What it really is is we are just crazy hectic - with 2 kids and their separate schedules - and now the holiday stuff. Well at least you will be organized for your future vacations . . . you can start packing up!

I don't get bored often but when I do I read or play a game with my kids. Also I spend time here. =)

Those are boiled shrimp. That was years ago, way before the air fryer.

Not where we go it says. We go to the mountains in GA and NC.. I am fairly good with geography and know where the ocean is.
Trying to avoid that 8 hour ride to the coast.
