Cold And Snow Here

It is extremely cold today and we have all that snow on the ground that came down during the week.
Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer, I hope so as I have to go out to 3 places.
I just need to get a few little gifts which are not going to be difficult to get as I am not going to a big shopping plaza. No way!
Today, I will stay in as I still have not recovered 100%.

It's not warm here either, but at least it isn't windy. Most of the weather that has impacted the North hasn't made it down here,,and I am not sorry for that..!

I will admit, there's a part of me that is a teeny, itsy-bitsy jealous of you for the nice cold weather you're having. We're experiencing the opposite here in Florida...it's been getting hotter and muggier with each passing day, and by Christmas Day we expect to be in the upper 80s! Christmas is just not the same when it's not cold outside!

@marlina I know how it is. We want what we don't have. I live in hot, sunny Florida. Therefore, I desire cold, snowy winters. Florida is flat. I desire mountains. But I know that the thrill would most likely be short-lived (well, maybe not in the case of the mountains, but I sure would miss the beach).

I always like to be sick on really really cold days.. that will give me excuse to stay at home.. always i missed snow.. i used to live in canada

@marlina i think we all can be a little sick if we want to. especially if snow starts to fall, love to watch the snow fall behind the window. i could watch for hours

Today I have seen many discussions about the cold weather. It seems it is really so cold in North America. I hope it will not give you more inconvenience. At least you are warm indoor. I don't have the heating system indoor and therefore actually our winter is colder inside than you. I always think it is colder than the north places. Because we feel cold outdoor and indoor.

I used to get so duldrum and grumpy with snow. Finally I learned to just be light about it because my mood is more important than some ice on the ground. It will melt away eventually . . .

Yes we need to enjoy this day that God has given us. A lot of our snow melted today but its supposed to be very cold later supposed to go into the single digits in the am, ugh! brrrr
