lol Yes I know my name is Belle Starr, well of course, it isn't really and I know that I have confused everyone by choosing a nomme de Plume. I like to keep my professional writing separate from my fun writing.When I joined Bubblews, my serious writing friends made fun of it and I decided to not use my real name.
When it came to MyLot, I wanted my friends to know that it was me so I continued with the same name. But, I really am Isabelle and my friends call me Iz or Isabelle. I have never answered to Belle. So, here I am, I'm Iz and I hope that my friends will get used to calling me by my real name.
lol If you want to call me Belle, I won't be upset, I just figured it was time to set the record straight!! We are headed into a new year after all.

Isabelle is fine, I like my name now which I didn't when I was young and it seemed so old-fashioned, Who would have guessed how popular it would become !!

From FB, I knew your name was Isabelle, so it was natural to think Belle came from that. But from now on, I will call you Iz. Many years ago, in the early 90s, I met a woman online from Australia. Her name was Isa. I knew her for many, many years and for most of that time I didn't know that Isa was the nickname she used for her real name, Isabelle. We had all pronounced "Isa" in so many different ways that she finally told us so we'd have a reference point! lol So when I first saw your real name, I thought of Isa and had to smile. Now I will think of Iz.

We have an Isabelle in our family. Isabelle and Elizabeth are twins born to my niece.
I still choose not to use my real name. Wish I had the confidence to do so.

Thank you, I figured what is the point in using another name, I will get to know your name next year when we actually meet so I can wait lol Isabelle and Elizabeth actually are the same name, Isabelle is a form of Elizabeth.

I will try to remember, but mostly I do not refer to people by name here. I began as Garden Gerty here over ten years ago, and I use that on other sites as well. The format of myLot now has my name so that is okay as well.

@BelleStarr Whenever I hear the name Belle, it always makes me think of my Bella...lol. Her original name was Isabella but was shortened to Bella. She belonged to my niece before I got her.

My girlfriend's name is Isabella, and everyone calls her Belle or Bella. For some reason, I only call her by her full name Isabella.

I remember the first time I spoke with you on the phone, neither of us knew the other and it was a bit scary to get out and meet someone because of a web site ...but what a great day that was. It was awkward for about a minute and then it seemed like we have known each other forever lol I know when I tell people that I meet my internet friends they think I am crazy but I have been doing it for 20 years and everyone has been such a joy to know. Of course, I make sure I have seen a lot of their work or posts and none are sketchy lol I am so glad we met, and you are exactly as I knew you would be a dear woman with a warm heart and a great sense of humor. lol Not to mention all that crafting talent!!!

@BelleStarr I have met others from Gather.com and Weight Watchers when i was on line with them. I still talk to some the the WW and that was years ago.There was a whole group from my area that got together when we could...usually for a hike..
