Do you like to take pictures or photographs? Do you have a favourite picture or photograph that you took? What makes it so special? Would you like to share it with us?
I didn't take this one but it is one of my most treasured pictures. It was taken by her brother Eric with whom I was also a close friend at her house. It is of one of me and my friend Beatrice. We lived close by and we went to the same high school but I was a couple or years ahead and she was on the girls side and I on the boys side. We were Catholic.
We were not boyfriend / girlfriend but we used to talk on the phone practically ever day and had long conversations that lasted hours.
We often went to the movies in groups. She even took me to her graduation as her date to make a boy she was interested in jealous. I don't remember if it worked and what happened.
I lost contact with her when I got married and I have never been able to find her so far. It would be nice to find her and catch up with her and her family.

There are so many people we lose touch with over the years. Some of these we would love to connect with, while others, not so much!

@1hopefulman That was half the problem I had finding this girl as well she spelled her name different then she did while in school.

@shaggin Yes, and now they can go by their married names and it is more of a challenge. Let's see if I'm successful in locating her or her family.

I will redouble my efforts to find any member of her family. With my bad memory, I can't remember how they spelled their second name exactly, as it was a French name and I think they came from Morocco.

I'm looking for her to share some spiritual gifts. She was a nice friend and hopefully she also followed the narrow road and if that is the case we'll see her one day.

@1hopefulman oh yes, before the digital age she had lots of expensive equipment, now her daughter, my niece is like her,the official photographer of the family

Here it is!!!!! I have looked for this picture of me for the longest time!!!!! It's my absolute favorite!!!!! I'm so glad to show it to U!!! I finally found it!!!! What do U think!!! It will only be here for a while!! Don't think anyone else will see it unless they come to this post!!! I'm still sort of incognito!!!!!

@1hopefulman LOL, that's funny!!!!! I have others too!!! The one with me and a hat!!! I just wanted to find the right hat!! Coming soon!!! Of course my battery is almost gone and have to recharge my phone. I'm on the bus headed home. Will be back in the am tomorrow!!! Good nite!!!!

I couldn't locate any member of her family either. I even went to her last address and neither the new owner nor the neighbors were of any help. This was many years later.

That is such a sweet picture. I hope you are able to reconnect with her someday. It is always nice to reconnect with old friends. I did take a lot of pictures but there are few pictures with me in it because I really dislike having my picture taken. I don't think I have an favorite one but the ones I hold dear are the old ones from my childhood days.

I would love to reconnect with her or any member of her family as they all loved me and they even took me on some outings and I was a frequent visitor at their house. Could you share one of your pictures from your youth with us or use it in a post?

@1hopefulman Well this particular one is one that has my all my immediate family in it and the fact that we were all together in it makes the memories keep coming. Currently my brothers are away from home so I look at it every now and then.

Nice memorable photo Felix. Every photo contains a memory. I have put my old picture photos on my computer and have them on a memory card to display on my digital photo frame.

@1hopefulman, I like you handle so creativity. The pic brings back such great memories. I enjoy the moment of life I am in but when I see pics like this, I did not know I was living in a treasured time. Your heartfelt words were inspiring, thank you!

I love taking selfies. And snapping random photos in random places. plus I don't wanna miss a moment in life. I try to capture every moment.
