My grand daughter told me a secret...

Now I am not sure she was suppose to tell me. Her mom never told anything about it so it may be a secret. My grand daughter told me this morning that her mommy and her fiance are going on a trip and they are going to get married while they are away. My daughter did mention they were planning a trip down south but she never said where they were going or when or anything about getting married. I guess I will just have to wait and see.

Kids say the darndest things but I guess you'll have to wait.& see what happens. Maybe your daughter will tell you if she's planning on getting married.

@Happy2BeMe - here in the past, in california. similar things have happened. on one occassion a protester drilled into a couple of trees and put metal rods in it so when the person cutting them down would get a broken chainsaw chain to injure them. well, the protesters didnt understand the difference between relocation and cutting down. the trees were being relocated out of the way, but still in the vicinity, no cutting down was needed. but the trees were harmed and started to die. so they ended up killing two trees.

I wonder why they would go and do this instead of having a nice wedding with family. I guess you will have to wait and see what happens for sure.

@Happy2BeMe I think if I ever get married again I want a big wedding did not have it with my first marriage. Had the big reception my mom threw for us after.

I know that she didn't want a big wedding. If they do it that way we will still have a party for family and friends when they get back.

I am very happy. They got engaged at Christmas time but they never mentioned any wedding plans. I am sure she will let me know once they get it all figured out.

@Happy2BeMe I think this is an ideal situation. Some people just about break their banks going for the big flash wedding. So unnecessary in this day and age.

No not at all. I would rather them take their money and go on a trip and enjoy themselves then to spend a whole lot of money on a big wedding. If they do decide to do that then we will have a party for family and friends when they get back to celebrate their marriage.

Oh, secrets cannot be hidden if there is a child listening to it. Hahaha! I remember my niece. My sister and her husband did not tell mom that they were fighting. Our mom just learned it from my niece who was I guess 4 years old that time.
