Did you ever find a bruise on your body and wonder how did that get there?

I found a bruise on my knee when I was in the shower, and I was thinking how did that get there? I do seem to dimly recall hitting my knee at some point, but I am not even sure when it was. It seemed odd to see a bruise I never noticed before, but oh well!! Does that ever happen to you?

I almost snorted reading the title. Yes I have found bruises several times on my person without having a clue where they came from. This remains an unsolved mystery to this date.

@snowy22315 I suppose that is a possibility. They just appear for no reason so you must have been asleep and dreaming or something.

If you are busy, it is easy to bump into something and not realize it until a bruise appears.

Yes, I do also find suprise bruises from time to time..but if I think about it, it can usually be traced back to a certain event.

yea,but i'm part irish/scots and if you fart in my general direction i seem to bruise.
sometimes it's anemia tho.

I bruise very easily and even more so during the last eight or so months. I take several medicines after I was ill last spro9ng and one of them thins down the blood which seems to make bruising even easier than before. Some days I look like I have been in a boxing match and I don't remember bashing myself in those places at all

This happens to me all the time. I am very clumsy and hurt myself alot without even realizing it. There are days i get home from work and find cuts and bruises also like you and think how i got them and never find out how.
It is weird how we can get something on our body and not notice it at all.

Oh yeah, several times. I usually find bruises on my arms and legs but I don't recall having an accident at all.
But most of the times, I find bruises a few days before my period. Doctor said it's a symptom for lack of iron.

I am clumsy so I hit my legs a lot.
Sometimes I may fall on doors or miscalculate the distances.
It's very common to find bruises on my legs or sometimes little scratches on my hands (probably from paper or other items in the office) that I've never noticed before!

Yes, I sometimes end up with small scratches too. I usually blame the cat!

Yeah, that is what I did. I do think I hit my knee, but didn't look for a bruise at the time, I am no hypochondriac.

Usually when you hurt yourself you look for bruises then..I guess with the knee thing, I didn't think of it.

Is the bruise big? I usually have that thought. I don't know how I get the bruise in the first place. I think they just show up suddenly

Yes it does @snowy22315 . Sometimes I know what did it and other times; nope. Drives me crazy.
