Hello and hope all is going well with you all! I decided myself it would be a good idea to pull the scale out of the depths of my closet and face reality. I gained 4 pounds while beach bumming and sippin margaritas for 6 days straight. Dang! So I decided to hit the gym a few days back for the first time in months and months and months. I have gone for the past 4 days which feels awesome even though Im not exerting myself quite that much yet. My goal is to eventually be able to withstand 1 hour on the elliptical machine like I used to. I broke a sweat yesterday in 10 minutes of being on it. Soo I have some work to do. Lol. The biggest challenge for me is going to the gym after I get off work at 430am. I did it yesterday but I was so tired! So far I havent done any weight teaining although that will come later. Just been stickingto the tredmill, stationary bike and elliptical for a short period. Whats your workout routine like? Do you have any specific goals?

@maezee That is the "worst" part: getting a routine.

I remember when I first joined the gym and I struggled to complete two and a half minutes on the elliptical. Now I can do half an hour on the powermill or hit a pump and spin class back to back. It's amazing how quickly your body adapts and how quickly your fitness improves. I must admit I've put a bit of weight on over the festive period so hitting the gym in a big way to burn the bulge.

Yes!! I agree. After only a few days at the gym I was able to do 20 and then 30 minutes on the elliptical. I havent tried to do more than 30. But its crazy how fast your body changes.

I'm a retired professional boxer I still do a lot of training. If I'm having a bizie day 15min beats nothing,15min is 5 rounds n the ring. #QuickworkoutsBeatnoworkouts

For starters, good for you with getting back to the gym! It's not an easy task to work a full-time job and go to the gym. I am a mother of three and I work full-time, so finding time for the gym is very overwhelming sometimes! I don't go to the gym as much as I would like but when I do go I always start with walking to warm up. After about three laps of walking I will get on the elliptical for about 15-20 minutes although I set my time for much higher then that, I'm still working towards that goal. After the elliptical I do some leg, arm and ab workouts. I would like to go to the gym more often, per say 4-5 days a week and spend approximately an hour to two hours in there working on my body to achieve my goals. I wish the best of luck to you! Be sure to keep us updated on your achieved goals!

Nice. And good for you! You must be very busy. I think 4-5 times per week is also a great amount. Already feeling much better in general.
