Be part of the team.

I would like to know: Would you change your natural behavior to be part of a specific group? To feel part of something that many people consider as "essential" in their lives? I respect all decisions, but... For me, this is a lot of stupidity and only shows how weak the person is.

I could modify my behaviour if it was necessary to achieve a particular team goal but that's about it.

I would only be part of a group that liked what I liked and with whom I could enjoy myself. I would not be part of a group where I would have to change my thoughts and my likes etc.

Nobody ever has a fixed personality or 'natural behaviour'. Like it or not, we all modify our behaviour somewhat to fit in with the society in which we find ourselves. Sometimes, it is a bad thing but often it can be good for us. Some people fall into bad company out of weakness or because they wish to have the approval of their peers but it is also possible, and sometimes desirable, to choose the group one associates with in order to change one's habits for the better. For example, if one discerns a tendency towards laziness in oneself, one might choose to associate oneself with a group of people whose ethos is the opposite and thereby change one's bad habits. That would certainly not be a weak and stupid thing to do!

There is no way I would change to fit into any special group. I am me, take me as I am, love me as I am or go on your own way.

Our natural behavior is our identity.but ..i feel. at times...we need to compromise... suppose ...i am very bold, independent and little haughty...i can't show it in case of a team work...if i show my true nature... and try to manipulate others ... then ultimately ...our team will be broken... I do not say...one should give up his or her's decisions....every time...but in some cases ...we can arrive at an agreement...which will benefit that person as well as me.

It depends. If I think that it will make me a better person, then why not? But if what I need to do will be against my values, then I won't do it. I have been assimilating myself with various blog groups. I am happy with my progress and I will not exit from those groups because I do feel belongingness with them.

Being part of a group or a team is helpful for many people. It's also good for personal relationships and creating a work network through socializing. I wouldn't change my character but it is good to adapt in order to function as a part of a society. I believe that our individual personal space ends where the personal space of the others start.

I'm no good at pretending, my face would give me away. So I stay true to myself regardless of where I am or who I am with.

Circumstances and situations around us may cause us to change, only God can help us to always stand out.
