Autumn is depressing? Summer is joyful? Is your mood influenced by the seasons?

More like Autumn is joyful and Summer is depressing. It is too hot and autumn is wonderful and cooling down. I love autumn and winter sometimes. The season are a wonderful time. I love them.

To me, seasons are very important. I grew up in a place with 4 distinct seasons and I loved it. As soon as you were tired of one season, another came along with new sights, scents, and weather. Now I live in the southwest desert and I can't tell you how depressing it can get. Sun and clear blue skies most days, very little change in weather. Sometimes we get rain for a bit but no real thunderstorms. We have 8-9 months of 100+ degree temps and 6 of those months it's 115 or higher. No variety to speak of in weather except in winter it might get in the 50s--but clear blue skies nearly always. I get so depressed sometimes that I spend most of a day in bed crying at least once every 3 months. Most people here love the weather and I've tried but I need 4 seasons to keep me truly healthy and happy.

I love Spring the most! The flowers start blooming, the trees start growing leaves, the grass becomes green, baby animals are arriving. It's like the world is starting anew! I also enjoy summer, for the warm and sunny days. I think that Autumn is beautiful, but is a sobering reminder that Winter will soon be here.

When I was younger I was content with either snow and blizzards or strong sunlight, although these days I hate the winter months.

Yes I like the changing seasons although I'm not keen on the cold so I would say that's probably the most depressing season for me. I love the spring and summer and I don't find the autumn depressing at all.

I used to love rainy days because it's relaxing and cool but lately it makes me depress when it's not sunny day

I don't have problems with the seasons. But my husband does. He is from the south of Italy and now lives in Germany. He doesn't miss the excessive heat. But he suffers when the sky is grey which is quite often the case..

My mood is influenced them. I'm way happier in the winter with snow or in the fall with cool weather and changing leaves but in summer my mood is definitely more down and i get irritated more due to the heat
