Good afternoon.How is your day going.
Well Mike and I starting to watch the Oscar best picture.
Now that the Academy Awards is over and will be watching a lot of movies.
First stop The best picture Moonlight.We started it and will finished it up tonight.
Growing up in the drug-soaked world of 1980s Miami ,
Young Chiron struggles to make his way through a helter-skelter adolescence
while also grappling with his confusion and anxiety about his emerging sexuality.
We are into a hour and a half.Will finished this tonight.
The movie is excellent and the dialog.This movie is rated R
Best picture indeed.I have so many to watch.
Will get caught up soon.I saw Captain Fantastic ti was a good one.
Viggio Mortsen not sure this is correct was excellent as he was chosen for best actor.I have not seen la la land as this is coming.
Have anyone here see some of the movies that was nominated?

I watched the trailer but I cannot understand the dialogue. Either the sound is bad or my hearing is getting worse.

The trailer clip looks very intense.
But I thin that I'd like it, even though it looked a little too violent for me.
I don't like to see blood or people picking on other people.
Enjoy tonight's viewing of the last of the movie, don't eat too much popcorn!

@amadeo - Not for a long time. Too expensive. Now it's just DVD's, but one of our cats broke our TV. He's lucky we love him!

The actor Mahershala Ali who won Best Supporting Actor, I think he is good looking. I guess I have a little bit of a Crush on him. I first noticed him when he was in "House of Cards". I thought he did a good job in that.

No I have to say I have not watched a good movie in 6 months, Because Tony is so sick I give him the t.v. to watch, that is all he is able to do. I am waiting on him and working, I use my little free time here on mylot or blogging.

Have been hearing a lot about this movie. Perhaps I should watch if for no other reason than Liberty City is a real place. Some people may think because it's in a movie it's fiction. Nope. It's a real place. I grew up there. I should check the film to see if I recognize any of the locations. That's what my husband always does when he finds movies filmed in The Bahamas, his native homeland. That's the only reason we used to watch Miami Vice (filmed in Miami, Florida where we used to love). To see how many places we recognized.
I have not seen any of the films that were Oscar nominated. To be honest, I'm not even interested. None of them struck my fancy as the type of movies I'm just dying to watch! Ever since all the "unnecessary" commotion last year about the Academy Awards last year, when somebody say Oscars, I start yawning. Although I had really lost interest in most awards shows long before that. The Grammies, the Emmies, etc. They all suck! Most of them are so boring and un-entertaining. How ironic. It is the entertainment industry.

Yeah! Moonlight deserved it. It delivered an outstanding performance. A great drama movie.
