I finally join the roster of fellow members who got blocked because they manage to raise the hackles or get someone's goat.
I attribute this to 3 possibilities.
1. I offended their moral values
2. I offended their sense of importance
3. They were having sphincter muscle problems.
How do I feel?
Mix emotions.
But moving on.

why in heavens, and on earth, would somebody block a witty and intelligent lady like you? maybe, you hurt their ego? or you left them in tears? hahaha! oh, my friend, just stay as witty as you are.
by the way, was he/she, the blocker, a Filipino like us? any clue at all?

@ridingbet _Why will a "kababayan" block me? No names, in order to protect the anonymity of the anonymous.

@ridingbet _ I have never nor will I ever delete a comment even if it is hostile or combative. Remember what the late senator Miriam Santiago said? " I eat bullets for breakfast" and I am a fan of hers. I also notice the disappearance of those comments. Maybe they realize the error of their comments?

I discovered that I was blocked too by a user two days ago and I have no idea why. I saw their post, read it and liked and went to respond but there was no 'respond' button and I checked their profile and realised the sad truth.
I have absolutely no idea why or when they blocked me and I can only think that they can't stand my carisma
Do I care? Absolutely not! There are so many other Lotters here so I certainly don't miss being unable to communicate with only one. Their loss not mine for sure

@allknowing _You can ignore them or you can post a discussion of your own to rebut their allegation. They not only can't comment in your post, you also earn from the interaction from others.

@josie_ I have blocked a few people for persistant rudeness and reported a few spammers but that's about it

@arthurchappell _Some negative response can strike a sensitive cord in our emotions but I'm too thick skinned for it to have any lasting effects.

@josie_ I fully agree, how can you enlarge your knowledge if you refuse to read what the others write. I always try food before to say that I do not like it, even if I have the feeling that may be it's not something I would like. At least I know for sure.

Josefina - I've just noticed that I am blocked by a good friend of mine @allknowing. I can't believe that she did it on purpose, but obviously can't ask her. As the subject of your post is blocking, I hope you don't mind if I try to get her attention by mentioning her here.

If we block someone it means we dont wannna intract with them and see them... So its better not to see their posts and comments and also not allow them to like either.... So I prefer they update this in mylot...

You made me chuckled. i think you are a highly intelligent person...and definitely more informed than most! I have to put on my thinking cap around you...which I appreciate. I don't think I can be offended with you. The most I'll do is beg to differ. But this is a site for discussion and the best discussions are generated by a degree of conflict. So the person who 'blocked' you must be one of those who must think when the weather is warn, it is exciting news!

@Gita17112016 _I recall discussing with you about how people have a tendency to either use their right brain or left brain. The block-head use neither.

I got blocked by someone I thought I had a decent relationship with. I have no idea why. It upset me for a while but hey, they are missing out, not me.

@Shellyann36 _That happens with "soft boiled" people. Although I'm thick-skinned, it would also bother me if someone I've long interacted with suddenly block me without any explanation.

I don't mind people who dislike me. But if they show it off on my face, I will confront them and ask if there is any problem.

Why on earth would you be offending them in the first place? I think it's an abuse of authority when they try to block some one simply because they got offended. I wonder what can you do to offend them? @josie_
