Hello from sunny, warm, and glorious South Florida!
We have been running around for days. Today, it seems as if it will be a day off from dinners out, in, and out again with friends, with family, and with new friends.
Our new friend is also our new neighbor. To be neighborly, my husband bought him a baker's dozen (13) bagels and I invited him for cocktails and nibbles.
He was a dentist, but gave up his practice to become a businessman. He invented the soap dispenser and now has an alcohol free hand sanitizer called, Safe Hands. He gave me several full size and pocket size samples.
Did you know that Purell hand sanitizer contains 70% alcohol and causes nurses to have false positive readings in urine samples? It's almost like drinking six shots of vodka. Nevermind their sore, dry cracked hands.
My brother is going to help him market his product in Asia and parts of Europe. My brother is a businessman, too.

Interesting, has he applied to Shark Tank? It sounds like something that would be featured on there.

@DianneN sounds like a quality product. I know someone at PG, however it is more of a business than a friend connection. They seem like a nice company.

We talked about Shark Tank, but he has a college friend whose father invented L'Leggs, Fuji Water, etc. and is helping him market his product. His goal is to get it into hospitals, schools, etc. It's FDA approved and Purell is fighting him in court, but he's winning. He's been on many TV news shows, too. He is hoping a large company like P&G will buy him out.

Cool ... That would be Great success and much needed. There are so many things out there against a lot of products people by, and when an alternative is out there it could be worth their time and effort to do some more research and consider switching.

There is a hand sanitizer here made by Safeguard and it is handy with mild scent.how about posting an image of his invention?

Your new neighbor and friend sounds fascinating. Let me know about the safe hands. I love, love, love, really love hand sanitizer - so to have an effective but less drying substitute would be great. Is the picture your friend or your husband or brother? If it isn't your husband - is he single? ;-)
