My vacation starts next Monday. Maybe?

Good afternoon.Week from today will be heading to Naples,FL(maybe) Why maybe.The blood pressure is being stubborn.This morning it was over two hundred.Mike put a call to the Doctor and waiting for answers. the new medication not working.I still feel that there is something going on to spike this.I cannot get an injection if it is too high. I will be seeing my Oncologist Thursday.Yes,I did play tennis this morning.LOL So wish me lucky or maybe a short prayer or two.Have to get this under control or there is a stroke in the making?(hope not) My mother died from a stroke and my dad cerebral hemorrhage The odds are against me.Will know more.The BP been high every day.

Yes, I agreed with @teamfreak16. You need to take care of yourself @amadeo do not travel now, please consult your doctor before going on vacation. Get well soon

My mom has high blood pressure. I think you should try to stay calm and do not stress. I hope everything goes well, maybe the doctor should change your medication if they are not working.

@amadeo Anxiety can cause many other health issues, have you ever tried yoga or meditating? It should help with stress release.

@besweet I am doing meditating.I use to do Tai Chi but the teacher left.I loved it and was learning so much. I try yoga a few times.Did not mind it.But it was sort of stressful for me at that time.

I am so sorry to hear this. I really hope that they can find the right meds to get it under control. It is not good to have BP that high while you are on meds. Sending positive vibes your way.

Today it seems that the high blood pressure is very normal. Besides the healthy diet, it is important to do some exercises. My parents take medicine to control their high blood pressure everyday. If one medicine can't work well, the doctor will change another medicine. But I see that my parents use the same medicine for a long time already. Perhaps it is a good sign since they seem to control it well. They can't get rid of this medicine.

I am very active.I play tennis three times a week.Two day of my work out.Been doing this for years.As you can see no it is not the lack of exercises .This I get plenty off and a good diet

I certainly pray things get under control. Sadly for you, traveling is a stressor, so the anticipation of the Florida trip could be helping contribute to your increased BP. You be good and do what the doctor tells you.

Alfredo, do not thing that the odds are against you. Do not travel if you cannot have your BP under control. I hope the doctor can find something that works. My good vibes are for you.

I don't think I would want to travel until that bp was under control. Sounds like maybe you might need a second opinion (new doc often helps find things others don't)

Oh my that i er two hundred is not good. Maybe it was because you were tired from playong tennis though. Just curious, why go to an oncologist? They specialize in cancer right?

@Yahah04 yes they do.My hematology is very low.The bone marrow is disease and not working fully. That is why for the injection.To get it up higher.This work fine.But the BP they will not give me a shot Have to be down to 160 or lower.It has not been.Been three weeks without an injection

I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck with the test. My mother also has high blood pressure. It went over 200 once. She needs meds to keep it under control. I also need to ensure she didn't eat food that can spike it.

The prayers are going out for you to get much much better and for them to find the problem of that Blood Pressure thing. That way us sending you all good wishes will make it come down so you can fly to Naples pretty soon. Come on guys.
